Roger Mayweather was a much better fighter than Floyd Mayweather Sr. But Floyd Mayweather Sr was tougher than Roger he went the distance with Marlon Starling and 10 rounds with Leonard. I would say Roger Mayweather wins a pretty clear cut decision he has been in there with world class fighters like Chavez x2, Whitaker, Pineda, Tszyu, and has even won world title, plus even though he didn't always win against big fighters he was a much better all round fighter than Sr was.

The problem with this match up Hulk is that Roger was much better at Super Featherweight, and this fight would have to take place at Welterweight. Which is a slightly unfair to Roger.

If they fought now, it's up in the air for me. Roger could get sparked out early by Sr., but if it went the distance Roger would prevail, as those massive gaps in his teeth would help him take in more oxygen and he wouldn't fade down the stretch. Plus, like someone said, Sr. is a miserable old f#ck and if he didn't get Roger out of there early, all that pent up rage would tire Sr. in the later rounds. Though, Sr. does have those chameleon eyes, so he would see every punch coming........... Tough one to call

Roger was the better fighter but Floyd Sr. had a slightly better defence imo. Roger fought the better overall opposition beating some of them and he became a legitimate champion. Floyd never beat a really good fighter even though he faired well and his career was cut short. Roger would probably beat his @ss and Floyd being the anrgier man wouldnt help either. But as long as one mayweather got his mouth shut id be happy.

Roger had the better career. He would beat Big Floyd in the ring. How ever, Big Floyd was a bad mofo on the streets and I'd bet on him in the streets any day, maybe even against little Floyd as well. Apparently no one would Fuck with Big Floyd when he was in the joint either. Funny thing is, knowing this family and their rep around town, I bet Roger and Big Floyd have fought more than once outside the ring for real. Jeff Mayweather had a big rep as a street fighter as well. Roger is an under rated trainer. He watches all the film and prepares little Floyd. Little Floyd trusts Roger's judgment enough not to even have to watch much film himself.
