Default Any news on Ricardo Mayorga?

    He's still my favorite fighter.

Even though he did pull crap, askin for more money and pullin outta that fight with Angulo.
    Probably blacklisted himself from HBO.

But there is still Showtime and God forbid ESPN2, hope to not ever see him on there cus then he will have fallen quite a ways.

I'd like to see him and Cintron go at it.

Or actually follow thru with a fight with Angulo.

Mayorga isn't getting any younger so hopefully we hear something sooner rather than later. I thought he was fantastic against Mosley, and a damn shame he got stopped.

A Cintron fight would be decent, Mayorga takes that quite easily IMO. Cintron has gone downhill, would be a good fight to get Mayorga back in the mix again.

I saw he was going to fight Santos for his WBA 154lb belt on May 30th.

I agree. He fought very well and hung tough with Mosley. It was heartbreaking to see him get knocked out with seconds to go. Wouldn't have happened if the ref had sent Mosley to the NUETRAL CORNER!

I think a Cintron fight would be great. Cintron does have straight punches and hits hard but he's not as tough inside as Mayorga. So less he boxed smart for 12 rounds, he would get lured into a brawl and probably stopped by Mayorga.

BlackRazor where did you read that? Santos is a slick boxer from what I've read and a career long 154 lber. Could be a tough fight for El Matador.

I would'nt mind A Mayorga vs. Cintron scrap. You could drive a semi trailer through the gap in self confidence between the two though.Ol Cintron may be sent screaming ,tail tucked once they face off.

Mayorga lacks a lot of things: Defense, speed, class, the english language.

But he's got plenty of self confidence. Thats for sure.

Mayorga is absolutely hopeless. Undisciplined, out of shape, and hopeless.

And if he were to fight Cintron, he'd get KO'd. Cintron is hungry and has something to prove, and Mayorga is ... well, Mayorga.

He looked hungry against Margarito the last time. Hungry for a bunker.

yea and sorry when a guy loses twice in ONE fight (by TKO and UD) and then is rewarded a draw, and has the balls to bitch about it, that basically makes him utter shit
