Really tough fight for Ennis. This is a stern test for Boots. I can see stanionis causing Boots all kinda of problems. Really tough fight for Ennis. I can see stanionis puling off the upset. But two champs putting on line in a unification bout.

It is a really good fight and a long time coming. Look...as much as I love Boots and have been on that train for some time...he has one of the shallowest records of any current champ today . Just a fact. And this is a fighter more than a few were leaning to vs Bud once. That doesn't diminish his clear talent or obvious natural athleticism, he's always had a natural reflex to him. The problem is there's not exactly a top tier run of guys he's had to show it against and find his gears. Last time out imo he took a step backwards even in a win vs Karen. But tbf I thought just taking the rematch was a backwards step. That's on sanctioning and Eddie. Boots gets lax on defense to 'make the show' but just gets hit with silly shots on occasion. Bad habits can become trained-in if you're not careful. All that run on skepticism aside, why tf can't I just give a one sentence answer , I think Boots still beats Stanionis. But I don't see him outhustling Stanionis and he can't posture and wait for the highlight reel uppercut either. Make it physical. Very solid fight glad we're getting it.

This is the best matchup at 147 in my eyes. I like both fighters, but I lean toward Boots. Stanionis has been far too inactive, and unless he scores a KO, I worry the cards won’t favor him. It’s the toughest test yet for each man, and the best possible opponent for both. No easy night either way.

Surprised there’s not more hype around this fight—it’s a high-stakes clash between two unbeaten welterweights. Is anyone backing Stanionis here? He’s tough, durable, and brings pressure, but the long layoff and facing someone like Boots makes it a huge ask. Still, he’s no walkover.

Dis be a boss-level throwdown. Both homies got killer jabs, and I’m ready for a straight-up war, kinda like De La Hoya vs Quartey. Ain't sure if Stanionis’ mug gon' hold up for all 12 rounds, he gets marked up quick, and that might bite him later. No matter how it shakes out, I reckon this gotta be Boots' last hustle at 147. Time to level up to 154

Eimantas Stanionis has not fought since May last year that may hurt him. This fight is on late but would like to watch this live.

Really like the professional composure of these two leading in, no silly slap fights and antics at pressers. Just all business. Somebody pinch me...a 'big fight', in the States primetime Saturday night! What year is this again . Mattice v Ford in co main can only be a good scrap. Has that feel all over it.

Giyasov is putting a beating on Franco Ocampo into the 4th round.

Random but whatever happened to the blue red and white ring ropes. It's gradually transitioned into the ropes now being basically billboards for advertisement. The things are massive now

Ocampo takes a huge body shot end of 4th and stays down on hands and knees taking the full 10 count.

Ouch. Olympian Omari Jones in a showcase next. Don't blink. Opponent has gone all of 0-3-1 over the last 11 years

Interview lasted longer than the fight for Jones. Nice kid level headed. But there's a pattern today where they insist on airing every single wink wink early padding fight for prospects and it can come back to bite them. Almost become over exposed before natural development in a way...hello Berlanga.
