this is muay thai the reason because they dont use elbows is because they can only be used in thailand they are not permited in other leagues only in lumpini and countries where is permited

@aa3gunner its not that they take it for granted. its different emphasis from different culture. Thai prefer kicking and elbows and knee up close. Farangs prefer high kick and punches. just difference in style.
