to bad its electric :(
what kit and where can i get it???? i cant believe a model that size is electric...it sounds gas too...please tell me
still mr. smooth
Wow, that's one big Toy you got there. I have an edge 540 27% 79" WS and i barely get it in my Car. I can imagine trying to Fit this in a 4DR Volkswagon Jetta....
I used to fly at mile square park over 20 years ago! Chip was da man then, and he's still da man today!!!!!!!!!
I love my electrics but with a large scale 3D plane like this it's just not the same without being able to hear that big gas engine screaming at full power as it does aerobatics.
- @fourwheeler223 - If you don't know much about the larger scale, then you don't need to be buying one. I'm saying that to save you money. If you haven't mastered torque rolls or flight, then you don't need to spend a few thousand on an airplane like this. You'll want the best electric motor - and ones suited for this size start at $850 and go up. Chip has been flying for so many years and has competed (and won) several TOC events. It looks good because he's flying it.
i do not know much about these planes but i am looking to buy one. Are they a good plane?
how much is the plane
Hey guys got any specs on the power system and batteries esc etc being used ? cheers
very nice flying, lovely model..I wish these people on here would stop slagging off though cos it gets a little tiresome...
whoah!...your power to weight ratio is ridiculous. it seemed you needed relatively low power to keep the craft suspended during the prop stall then did a vertical ascent at an amazing rate........hum...apply this tech to aircraft now?/? guy at controls....have your self a corona!..you've earned it@!
the sound like engine because the propeler noise... wow the big electric plane. awsome flight
it sounds like gas from fare away, thats pretty cool. some day electic will be the new gas. the electricks advance evey day. i will convert to the gaint electrics when it is less exepncive than gas because just the .80 sized electrics are more exepcive than gas. i was going to convert my exra 300sp the new one to elecric but with the batterys it costway more than gas. sorry bout the spelling i am 13 so i dont spell well even know i should
Yea. whatever. You know you're jealous- just admit it!
I saw a blind person flying one of these, its not hard :/
because electrics are cooler
Magnifficco...... i love electrik... especially in this size.... it's great... congratulation.. thumb up..
Nice plane, but dont like the sound. do you use a diesel generator to charge up your batteries or what?
what battery are u using?
Any information regarding the power system?
wow thats probably the coolest rc plane video i ever seen!!! GREAT JOB!!!
Very cool but the cost of going electric at that scale must be in the thousands for just a few batteries!!!
why would he want to fly electric?
