holy crap Batman, Christian Bale fought Hopkins?

  2. Apr 30, 2012 at 03:37 AM by MisterRepoMan

Wow talk about a biased and weak highlight, they only showed Hopkins doing any good here, most of the fight was Calzaghe flurrying on Hopkins and B hop trying to grab and clinch and complain about low blows

  3. Apr 29, 2012 at 11:17 PM by MrBrockwood321

Yeah, Hopkins is avery dirty fighter, that is why not many people like him. His boxing is the most boring ever.

  4. Apr 26, 2012 at 01:36 AM by chaz5656

If you knew what you were talking about, you wouldn't sound like a fucking moron. He actually beat a few contender on the way to his 37-0 record. He beat Rex Layne, who was favored to beat Marciano, and he beat Roland LaStarza, who was rated in the top 10. Sit down child.

  5. Apr 10, 2012 at 05:25 PM by vladiator100

Sorry to break it to you but Marciano didn't exactly beat any good fighters either. And the only few fighters he beat that were "good" were past their prime old fighters. He beat "tomato cans" virtually to build a 37-0 record until he faced a 37 year old Joe Louis, soon after he took on 39 year old Walcott, 33 year old Charles and 41 year old Moore. His best competition averaged 35 years of age and was made up of old and past their prime masters.

I doubt MArciano would have retired undefeated though. If he boxed for 10 more years? Marciano was slowing down at 32 and he retired because of it. He would have lost a few in that span. The menacing Liston and skillful Patterson were on the horizon when Marciano retired and I doubt he could have handled Liston. Not in his 30s anyway...

LOL ik nothing about boxing?Marciano didn't fight jack dempsey, gene tunney or tommy burns. Marcianos 4 biggest fights= Joe louis was 38 and ezzard charles had already completely outclassed him and Rock was Joes last fight, Archie Moore= 40, Walcott 39= Marciano was lucky to escape with a lucky punch victory in there first fight another old man down. Ezzard Charles=Not to old but wore down and way past it had lost 2 of last 4 before rock was winning but tired because his age and wear on his body

  8. Mar 20, 2012 at 11:12 PM by ok imnot

marciano was 45-0 when he retired at 32yr olds, if he woulda kept fighting he wouldve been on pace to finish 60 or 70, assuming he woulda kept going 10 more yrs. and for u to say there were old men only, shows how little u know about boxing. wut about sam langford? jack dempsey? gene tunney? tommy burns? gene kelly? these guys fought 20-30rounds or even 2hrs til someone lost. those guys were TOUGH

  9. Mar 20, 2012 at 06:56 PM by dabears420letsgo

LOL thats hilarious that you try to shit on Chavezs record when Marciano never fought anybody but old men. A prime Louis, walcott or moore would have wiped the floor with him. Ezzard Charles probably would have beat him in his prime as well

  10. Mar 20, 2012 at 06:53 PM by dabears420letsgo

You know they say willie pep won a round without landing a punch. Well Calzaghe won this fight without landing a punch. How did calzaghe the W in this fight?

  11. Mar 15, 2012 at 11:14 PM by banacek8675

What a stiff fight this was. Hopkins punked out when he feigned being hurt by the low blow. He was just resting his old body. Anyone can see that was not the type of low blow that hurts

    :'(

  13. Mar 14, 2012 at 09:34 AM by SuperFrankBlanco

marciano was the ONLY undefeated heavyweight champ in history, no mexican can\will beat that

  14. Mar 14, 2012 at 09:33 AM by SuperFrankBlanco

89-0 when half the fighters werent no competition. his son is 45-0 an he hasnt fought anyone that we can say makes him an elite fighter. just like alvarez.... marciano fought more than 15 rounds , an back then they really fought hard, referees jus watched. chavez is great, but marciano is better. he was the ONLY undefeated heavyweight champ in history, no mexican can\will beat that

  15. Mar 14, 2012 at 04:28 AM by ah93704

sounds like the majority of niggers in this country. The guy is foul and I hope one day he gets the shit beat out of him!

  16. Mar 13, 2012 at 07:34 AM by JDezi4

He doesn't cheat to win, he just cheats... He wins with boxing skill, all the cheating is just sprinkles on the doughnut that is his boxing skill

  17. Mar 13, 2012 at 07:33 AM by JDezi4

    Did I say that?? ';(

  18. Mar 12, 2012 at 03:04 PM by ah93704

I agree he should have rematched him. Hopkins is a dirty fighter though. He cheats to win. Not a fair boxer at all.

  19. Mar 12, 2012 at 03:03 PM by ah93704

I suppose the second win by first round knockout was luck too?

  20. Mar 12, 2012 at 09:53 AM by JDezi4

In Marciano's case... It was lucky

  21. Mar 11, 2012 at 09:13 PM by ah93704

one punch knockouts arent lucky..they are perfectly thrown shots that land in just the right spot..very hard thing to do..score a one punch knockout on a trained fighter!

  22. Mar 11, 2012 at 07:37 AM by JDezi4

Actually, Marciano didn't fight anyone worth fighting... At least no one in their prime... Walcott, his best win, was probably the only fighter he deserved true credit for, but in the end, a lucky 1 punch victory over Walcott doesn't make u great

  23. Mar 11, 2012 at 07:35 AM by JDezi4

He certainly was a great fighter... All the more reason to hate him for not fighting great opponents... He was the best opponent Lacy fought up to that point, and he didn't beat Hopkins convincingly enough to not warrant an immediate (or at least eventual) rematch, and he plainly ducked it... Whether what people say about his is true or not, he deserves all of it

  24. Mar 2, 2012 at 06:34 PM by ah93704

Calzaghe defeated a prime Jeff Lacey. Gave him a beat down. Nobody else was able to do that. Plus, he defeated Hopkins by outscoring him and controlling hte pace of the fightg down teh stretch. Now, Joe is no all time great, but he is a very good fighter and deserves more credit than many give to him!

  25. Mar 2, 2012 at 06:32 PM by CaviusTheGreat

one of the main reasons marcianos record was so great was becuase he was a heavyweight and he fought alot of people worth fighting Calzaghe didnt fight anyone and he was in a division where it happened on more occasions as opposed to heavyweight where it rarely occured He could say he never lost a fight but he can never say he won a fight worth fighting especially when he should be 44-2 Didnt Peter Mcneely have like an incredibly beasty record but got devoured by Mike Tyson?LOL
