@ChrisinEC yea obviously all im saying is he wasnt in the hall of fame yet he had alot more infront of him even after Taylor

  2. Jan 26, 2012 at 08:00 PM by wutup5566

willy pep at one point in his career was 130-1 oh but he didnt retire undefeated so he sucks (blatent sarcasm)

  3. Jan 26, 2012 at 04:46 PM by carmodifire

So? Whitaker got robbed against him so did taylor

  4. Jan 23, 2012 at 05:15 AM by ChrisinEC

@Mobil1one Are you kidding? By the time he was 89-0 and he had already probably won 15 or more championship fights. Rasario, Lockridge, Taylor etc. He was considered the p4p at that time so to say he wouldn't have been remembered for anything is absurd!

  5. Jan 22, 2012 at 11:25 PM by cpaignboxing

@CaviusTheGreat well shit an James toney went 44-0. Jones jr 50-1 but only loss was DQ to griffin. Records dont mean shit its who you fight. Calzaghe shouldnt be in the top 100 fighters of all time he beat nobody great at the top of there game

  6. Jan 19, 2012 at 03:43 PM by Mike9798999

@CaviusTheGreat but chavez didnt retire undefeated..(not a fan of marciano either)

  7. Jan 12, 2012 at 01:03 AM by Mobil1one

@CaviusTheGreat Not for mexican fighters, Chavez Jr is also at a point were every fight he will he in from here on up will try him more and more. all im saying is you can be 44-0 and your biggest fight was against Manfredo Jr, or in Floyds case you are 42-0 and have fought the majority of the great light/welter weight fighters in this era. its not necessarily rare in the sport of boxing but boxing isnt what it used to be boxers fight less in this day and age so it is rare enough.

  8. Jan 11, 2012 at 06:21 PM by CaviusTheGreat

@Mobil1one i guess you dont understand a figure of speech well? relatively speaking its decent but not that uncommon. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is now also 1 win away from 45-0. its impressive but not unheard of and not particularly rare which was my initial point that i was trying to make.

  9. Jan 11, 2012 at 01:51 PM by Mobil1one

@CaviusTheGreat Chavez Sr fought bar fights in mexico as a young pro instead of fighting an amateur career, not all those fights were with worthy opponents. 45-0 is a big deal, there was no point in Chavez reitering because he would have been remembered for anything.

It's a good thing Calzaghe wasn't around during Hopkings younger years otherwise this would have been his first loss

  11. Jan 8, 2012 at 02:19 PM by WOWBLOOPER

again I can't see how he won this!

  12. Dec 28, 2011 at 07:34 PM by iamKINGFLASH

@CaviusTheGreat 45-0 aint a big deal? id like to see how many fights you would win as a professional boxer and then i bet ur reaction to seeing a 45-0 fighter would change.

  13. Dec 19, 2011 at 04:14 PM by EricSHinton

Calzaghe is a bum, he hasn't fought anyone worth talking about and could only get a "controversial" SPLIT decision win over a 43yr old fighter, how pathetic

  14. Dec 18, 2011 at 09:19 PM by The562King

    Overrated.

  15. Oct 17, 2011 at 08:34 PM by ShortysStyle66

@pearcemark2 You should probably just watch the fight again...

  16. Oct 17, 2011 at 08:30 PM by pearcemark2

@ShortysStyle66 It absolutely was a body slam. It was a TEXTBOOK WWE spinebuster. You lift the opponent, hook the hand behind the knee, and SLAM them to their back. He fuckin pulled out Arn Anderson's finishing move and he wins the title.

  17. Oct 17, 2011 at 08:28 PM by ShortysStyle66

@pearcemark2 You're acting like the man body slammed him. It was NOT a body slam. It was a foul because he used his hand to lift but if someone is constantly on top of you you're going to lift them the fuck off. Im saying Bhop deserved what he got. It was not a body slam like you keep saying. More than likely this ruling will get overturned. I dont know if you paid for this PPV but if you did I see why you're so angry lol.

  18. Oct 17, 2011 at 08:24 PM by pearcemark2

@ShortysStyle66 Dude, you're LITERALLY trying to defend a BLATANT, PURPOSEFUL, INTENTIONAL FOUL that you're ADMITTING IS A FOUL Do you not see the lack of logic? "Oh jeez, don't say Rampage slammed Arona, he just picked him up over his head and slammed him back down in a powerbomb motion to knock him out. Don't focus on the slow mo!"

  19. Oct 17, 2011 at 08:22 PM by ShortysStyle66

@pearcemark2 Really? A body slam? Again I think you've been watching the slow motion video way too much. When I first saw it it looked liked he shrugged him off with some force. Watching it at other angles he used 1 hand to help lift him off. You're making this launch a lot bigger than it really was. Wait and see if the ruling is reversed.

  20. Oct 17, 2011 at 08:17 PM by pearcemark2

@ShortysStyle66 A title changed hands because one fighter body slammed the other fighter. This hasn't happened since Matt Hughes vs Carlos Newton in 2001...in MMA

  21. Oct 17, 2011 at 08:05 PM by ShortysStyle66

@pearcemark2 Hopkins' fighting style was made just to frustrate Dawson. Hit, hold, and push down on top. He got exactly what he deserved in my opinion. Clearly im not a Hopkins fan but honestly i could care less about this fight as a whole. I agree it should be called a no contest but ONLY because Dawson used a hand to push him off. "Literally the biggest joke call ever in boxing." There have been so many bad calls in boxing as of late and this is far from the worst of them.

  22. Oct 17, 2011 at 07:40 PM by pearcemark2

@ShortysStyle66 How can you NOT be upset by that decision? Literally the biggest joke call ever in boxing. "He wasn't thrown as hard as you're making it", the fact that he was thrown at all IS A FUCKING FOUL. The fight should've been a No Contest or a DQ. Chad was fighting dirty the whole time, held his elbow in B-Hop's throat for several seconds after the ref called for a break. He fought like a bum. If that fight would've been called a NC, would people scream that it should be a TKO?

  23. Oct 16, 2011 at 12:18 AM by pearcemark2

@hungrycactus123 Oh okay, you're right, in that case it's perfectly acceptable for Dawson to WWE body slam Hopkins.....because he wanted to. ROFL, pathetic.

  24. Oct 16, 2011 at 12:11 AM by hungrycactus123

@pearcemark2 Yeah because it really is unheard of for someone wanting to throw off a 190lb dude that jumps on their back. your butt lover got caught with his dirty tricks and this time he paid the price. maybe there is an opening for bernard as bodyguard for louis farakhan.
