@tlig He did have personal problems, but putting down Rooney is putting down Cus because Rooney trained Tyson exactly as Cus wanted. Once Tyson left Rooney, he stopped moving his head as much and soon relied solely on that knock out punch. Under Cus and the peek-a-boo style, Tyson trained for the head movement to last the full length of the fight. Incidently, who, of note, has Tyson's trainers after Rooney trained since Mike Tyson...?

Can you do a video with Rooney on how Cus and him trained Mike exactly? Like the videos i have seen where Rooney is in the ring throwing hooks at Tyson's head and Tyson is dipping the punches while coming forward. Can you make a video on how Cus and Rooney trained Mike from day 1 in details?

@fitzrapid Rooney had personal problems of his own! The dude was/is a HEAVY gambler and alcoholic. From the look of him he also has a weight/eating issue. He wasn't the influence on Tyson people make him out to be. Who, of note, has he trained since Tyson left him?

If Tyson had Rooney at his corner throughout his career he wouldve gone down as the greatest ever. Parting ways with Rooney was the beginning of the end. He was just not the same fighter any more and I watched all his fights. He became slower, predictable and relied too much on his punching power rather then speed/skill. Tyson even said he was small for a Heavyweight, that is why mobility, endurance, speed, skill and power was important. At the end of his career he only 1 of these in his arsenal.

definitely turning in to Cus though :)

yup - that's the man who trained the youngest undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. Tyson's skills were beautiful under the guidance of Rooney

@CanvassBlack You NOOB there are loads of white greats in boxing... Benny Leonard, Willie Pep, Jake La Motta, Jimmy McLarnin (the original p4p king), Marcel Cerdan, Terry McGovern and Stanley Ketchel are just some of the great p4p white boxers. And btw get it into your thick head that I don't want you replying to me. Tyson is shit and so are you. Buh bye NOOB. You just Ko'ed like Walcott by Marciano BITCH!

  13. Oct 17, 2011 at 04:33 PM by CanvassBlack

@NazhitsREALLYHARD My mistake, forget about the Nazi comment. Of course, Bert Sugar's gonna acknowledge the only white heavyweight champion of the world. He's white himself and every race wants to see a champ who looks like them. I dont do the internet thug thing though. I'll leave that to you.

  14. Oct 17, 2011 at 04:27 PM by CanvassBlack

@NazhitsREALLYHARD You're a guy who salutes Nazi's after all. Be glad I even responded.

  15. Oct 17, 2011 at 03:55 PM by NazhitsREALLYHARD

@CanvassBlack (Yawn) James Toney my ass!!! Marciano is the opitomy of a true fighter. Determination is what made him undefeated. He beat some of the best p4p of all time. I ain't even sure why your even wasting my time. Even Bert Sugar rated Marciano at no. 14 on his p4p list. Your a NOOB. Go play with the rest of your NOOB Tyson friends... provided you don't rape women for a living LOL.

  16. Oct 17, 2011 at 03:47 PM by CanvassBlack

@NazhitsREALLYHARD James Toney at 190 beats Marciano, Dempsey easy... Those old slow farts would be way out of their league when they faced the bigger stronger Heavyweights like Lewis, Bowe, Tyson, Foreman, Holmes etc...Shyt even Liston would have mopped the floor with Marciano.

  17. Oct 17, 2011 at 03:39 PM by CanvassBlack

@NazhitsREALLYHARD By the time Rocky Marciano became champ, Joe Louis, Archie Moore and Jersey Joe Walcott were all past their prime. Those old geezers still outboxed him in the early rounds. It's not his fault that he did not get to fight anyone good. All of the modern and bigger champions from Ali on, knew that they would destroy Marciano. Holmes was Ali's former sparring partner and being the politically incorrect man he made the comment about Marciano couldnt carry his jockstrap.

@PJ3love Wtf are you talking about? Jealous? What the fuck wud I be jealous of a pussy like Tyson? Knocked out by a 42-1 underdog Buster Douglas and then a old man in Evander Holyfield. His shit! The youngest heavyweight champion to lose the title. He has no distinction in heavyweight history. Schmeling would've knocked him out for breakfast... forget mentioning Dempsey, Louis, Marciano, Tunney, Johnson, Langford, Walcott, Conn, Liston, Foreman, Frazier etc cus it wud be a formality for them.

  21. Sep 16, 2011 at 06:47 AM by PJ3love

Respond to this video... jealous? And your achievements in life are.....? Bye bye!

  22. Sep 13, 2011 at 06:56 AM by NazhitsREALLYHARD

@gregm20072007 Tyson was never a determined fighter when he was up against it. He was DESTROYED by James Buster Douglas... ppl say that Tyson was not the same fighter but the fact is that he had never been up against a fighter who would not say NO to a tear up and still be standing after a round. That destroyed him mentally (in-between rounds he had a demoralised look). Then he got schooled by a "old" Evander Holyfield. Er buh bye Tyson. The youngest heavyweight champion to "lose" the title.
