What did i just found??? This is GOLD!!!
The fowlers are the nicest dudes
Man, where is the roxy and elsewhere version? It's the best one! I have the CD but keep forgetting to put on my iPod haha. BTW, people who like Justin bieber would probably explode if they saw this because they would behold REAL talent
Any covers of Zappa material is always going to be heard with critical ears...... the bestcover I have found is one of my favourite FZ compositions played by Ensemble Modern....just type the into YouTube...below Zappa, revised music for guitar But I appreciate all musical endeavours seeing folks delivering Zappa material...
This is amazing. Anyone who says it's "lifeless" is deaf. The fact that they put this tribute together for Frank is really great. I would definitely buy this DVD.
Marilyn manson on drums?! xD
What about Ray and Ian? Are they still active?
Estrada has been touring with the Grande- Mothers. I just saw them in July, got to meet him and Napoleon Murphy Brock. but the real thrill for me was meeting Roy.
true.
Turn on the bubble machine! God thats a cheap bubble machine!
too slow! great piece to attepmt. Maybe it was just that little perverted and the original tempo i heard and am used to, is just too fast.
I think they're quite lifeless (especially Fowler). It's not the same as it used to be in the 1970's. P. S. Where's Roy Estrada nowadays? and what is he doin'. If the band would be playing with him and Ian, I think they would be soooooooo.... powerful.
YES haha
Is that the drummer that use to play with the Genesis cover band in the 80,s Nursery cryme
i have posted the second part now
Violin is Tom Fowler. Yeah, he can play that too. When Artie Barrow plays bass (who doubles on guitar), he plays violin.
COOL STUFF, all the old cats reunited!! Haha they all look so old, except for Ed. Not as agile as they used to be, but still kickin major ass. Is that Bobby Martin at 3:57? And who`s the violin dude?
thank you so much. This is such an incredible song to watch. I cant wait for part two.
BTW, apparently KurtMcGettrick (RIP) played soprano sax in this composition, instead of contrabass clarinet.
i will uplaoad the second part soon
A goodie. So when is the 2nd part coming up here?
