A bootkit is a boot virus that is able to hook and patch Windows to get load into the Windows kernel, and thus getting unrestricted access to the entire computer. It is even able to bypass full volume encryption, because the master boot record is not encrypted.

Can anyone help me out with this? You do boot the computer from the Vbootkit 2.0 disk, correct? When I attempt to do so on a machine running Windows 7 Ultimate Edition x64, it just hangs at a blank console screen that states "Booting Vbootkit 2.0" followed by a blinking cursor. Any tips or corrections appreciated.
@Maveas He would have to in order to run screen-capture software at the bios and loading screens.
